Apparently spring is around the corner.
I’m just not sure which corner because I woke up a few moments ago, looked out the window and thought hell no.
Happy Sunday. I’m contemplating my day. Running through fields in the sunshine. Rolling in the grass with my true love and sipping cold iced tequila and orange.
Then there’s reality. Crawling out of bed, my hair a mane of mess as I’ve tossed and turned all night. Black coffee as I’ve run out of milk days ago and a couple of slices of bread and butter. Bread I baked Friday night to see me till pay day.
The stark reality is that I’ve got nothing in the fridge aside from butter and some grated cheese. Oh yes and two onions.
In the freezer there is a bag of peas and one of mixed vegetables. Guess who’s a vegetarian till pay day!!
This cost of living situation is getting harder and harder. So a lot of things have to change. A look at where my money goes and figuring out how to make it stretch further than ever. At the same time trying to live healthily as I’m a diabetic.
In many ways I get upset and angry about it all but then my strong Liz kicks in and I think no make it a challenge.
I can bake. So no more buying bread at all. I can cook, bulk cook and freeze. Do I give up my hobby? That’s the huge thing that’s laid on my mind.
No is the answer. If I give up my blogging and videos etc. what would be the point of being alive? Working and nothing! I refuse!!! Assholes to that.
So I take it now with a different view. Challenge myself to become even more independent and become even more savvy.
