Time to relax.
I’m on annual leave for a week. No set in stone plans but simply to enjoy the sunshine and rest.
This year every time I have had leave I’ve felt I never achieved the rest so this week I want to blow that out the water and get that feeling.
Monday and Tuesday I’m actually spending some time with a person. A man!!! Yes a man. I’m still early stages of even guessing if it’s going to go anywhere, but even if it doesn’t, the time spent is lovely. Monday a picnic. Tuesday not sure yet.
I’ve called him the breadcrumbing man as it’s a slow burn and I get moments. Maybe the title is not deserved but until I get the full loaf, that’s as it will be.
I’m hoping to see my friends maybe Friday and do something with them and in between my gorgeous grandson will be my companion. I told him we are going on a picnic on Wednesday around the lake. So I shall prepare a kiddies feast.
There is so much worrying stuff about bills etc but these snippets of friends and family are what keep us going don’t you think.
