So last night in my bed whilst reading a book this happened. I flicked my hair off my face and at the same time decided to somehow scratch my eye. You can see it Here
Within literally seconds it was like blood rushing across one part of my eye. Today it hurts and my eye looks like it’s haemorrhaged. It’s uncomfortable and I’m not sure what to do.
I don’t feel it’s warranting A&E. so I guess I’ll see how it goes. Flushing it with eye drops to keep it moist and clean and making sure I don’t touch it as much as possible.
Crazy how in a split second something can happen that can make such a sharp change.
Moral of the story? Stop touching your face!
