I hear you on the need to take time-out and focus on what matters for a while. I’ve recently pulled back to just one weekly show on Gorean Whip Radio, plus occasional ad production and behind-the-scenes stuff, and I’m going to make use of the free time on a Wednesday to try and catch some Second Life Book Club events. I’ve also bought a small plot of Mainland for my home, which will actually mean I end up spending less much each month on Second Life.
And I have a new website in the works with a brand new domain that matches my Second Life name, which will be linked up to my existing Mixcloud and Soundcloud profiles. The plan being that I’ll start posting recordings of my shows at those places, and do a better job of promoting myself. Might do some vlogging and even have another crack at podcasting, but we’ll see how things go.
I’ve been spending more time in Second Life doing things other than shopping or doing DJ/broadcast work, and I’m loving it! I’ve discovered some nice art galleries and live events, often from driving around the Mainland and checking out stuff along the way. It has rekindled my love for this virtual world, because I’ve seen how creative some people can be even with a small plot of land.

I spent last night just looking at my pixel me and playing with sliders. It was indeed pretty therapeutic as I felt quite angst with the world yesterday. Small things help.
Website sounds good. Is it up or still awaiting launch? Let me know when it’s up. I’m trying to get better at taking time out to read and listen to other people.😃

Still in the process of setting things up, managed to hurt my lower back a few days ago so that has slowed me down a fair bit, thankfully it appears to be just muscle strain and is easing.
