Whenever I open my news app on my phone it’s never great news.
It seems the only news we get these days is bad news or worrying news.
Mind you, I think if I recall years ago as a child it was the same.
Why is it that news has to be all of the not so great stuff?
I think because we the audience always for some reason thrive on reading the negatives.
Why is that?
It’s like gossip. People thrive on gossip. There are those whose day is not complete unless they indulge in reading or spreading some gossip.

Once, I spent a whole year not reading newspapers or watching/listening to the news or discussing current affairs and politics. It was an eye opener to what we put ourselves through on a daily. The world still went on without me looking at it perfectly well. Try it one year!

Yeah I just wish when I opened my feeds it was more positive stuff and less bad news or gossip
