The weekend was great, full of food, family, and way too much chocolate. I’ve had more chocolate eggs than a chicken farm and enough sugar to put me in a diabetic coma . At this point, even the sight of foil makes me twitch.
But today feels like the exhale. One last quiet day before the week kicks back in. I’m officially declaring this the final day of chocolate indulgence.
After today? No more bunnies, no more eggs, no more “just a little piece.” I’m reclaiming my tastebuds and my energy levels. Happy Easter Monday, the sweet ending to a sweet (and slightly sickening) weekend.
The best bit? My wonderful grandson sleeping a few days.
