I am not a huge Halloween buff at all. The only thing I appreciate about the concept is that sweets are in abundance.
Aside from that it’s a yearly event that I’ve never been able to understand or celebrate.
Only in Second Life that is. The Linden Haunted house ride draws me in every single year. It’s immersive and frankly all my avatar needs to do is click sit and the ride transports me into spookiness and a little macabre.
The rest of the time I admire the artistic photographs some bloggers produce around this event. Honestly some works amaze me and I always wonder, why are their skills wasted in Second life when they could be doing more.
Then I remind myself, without second life perhaps they would have never realised those skills.
Fun fact. Before Second Life I would never dreamt of pretending I was anything or anyone other than Liz.
