I’m ending the weekend on a low.
It should be a high as I’ve had my grandson and we had a good time. But, in the background my cat Tippi has gone downhill again and I just want to cry.
She has been hiding behind a potted tree in the corner of my living room where she can’t be seen. I know she is preparing to go.
This is the worst I’ve seen her. The time is coming and I want her to go now. Before she starts to suffer.
I can’t afford euthanising her in case you are wondering. I haven’t got the funds for that and to be honest I want her to leave life at home. Her home.
Not on some vets table with strange animal smells and the smell of disinfectant around her. No being should die like that.
Tonight I’ll sleep in the living room with her. Be close and let her know I’m around for her.
We have been here before. I know.
In the meantime I’ll look at the sun for her and the wildflowers.
