Holy god its rather warm right now. Well in my apartment its like a giant oven.
I stepped outside onto my balcony and decided sitting in the sun wasn’t a good idea as frankly at this age I better start looking after my skin. Which really is daft as I spent my whole life abusing it having grown up in hot countries. Plus some of my medications are photosensitive so I need to not get silly either. Good excuse to sit by my turbo fan and just blow away.
Actually that’s my new plan after I finish my mad housework binge that I am on. Taking a moment to do this and chill for half an hour before I crack on.
I know quite a few people heading to the seaside today, and I wish I was one of them. Though the nightmare of sitting in a car in traffic also doesn’t really appeal to me. Funny as you get older you start to prioritise very differently.
There was a time I would have been out in the sun, no matter what. These days I am far more careful and not so enthusiastic about that big planet as the damage it causes has to be appreciated.
Hence this photo of my virtual me. Cool and enjoying and ice-cream under a tree.
