What Second Life and Virtual worlds mean to me

I think there are many reasons people choose to visit a virtual world and enact a different lifestyle that is contrary and different to their own normal reality.

For me personally, I choose to visit in order to be creative and enjoy my own solitude.

I enjoy the relaxation of filming and taking photos. I enjoy the friendships and wonderful people I meet along the way. People who I would never have the opportunity to meet because distance and language often places many barriers.

I enjoy being a cat, a robot, a child, a ghost. Basically I enjoy the childlike fantasy of being whoever I want to be. I enjoy the world where there is no stress and there are no barriers.

You see, Second Life is a choice. A choice in how you want to appear, how you want to socialize, how you want to spend your time.

It is not for anyone to dictate how you should spend that time or what you choose to dress in or appear as. After all, it is YOUR Second Life.

This video is a snippet of how I see this life for me and I know how it is for many other people I have met along the way.

There are many reasons people choose to have a Second Life.

And no I am not a little girl in Second life. But I love this character little Isabellah. Because within each of us there is still a child.

My grandson Mason loves the adventures of Isabellah and so she will be returning back for the winter months.

Now the video…..
