I was stepping outside today but rain and wind would ruin my plans. So, I decided to stay in and enjoy the cozy indoors.
Right now, I’m curled up on the couch with a hot cup of tea, watching the rain tap gently against the windows.
The house smells amazing from the homemade soup simmering on the stove, filling the space with a warm, comforting aroma. With my favorite show on, it feels like the perfect way to spend a rainy day. Despite the weather, this moment is peaceful and snug.
The truth? I just hung up washing in the spare bedroom, the rain is far from gently tapping my windows. It’s absolutely battering them.
My place smells like Arabian oud air freshener. Actually it’s flipping divine.
I’m about to make a cup of tea.
