I’m in bed writing this blog. I’ve been here 2 hours now because why not.
Do you remember the days going out and burning the candle at both ends? My god those were the best days. I was happy, young, and pretty popular for my attitudes. But still shy.
I’d go out clubbing Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Then stay out till the clubs shut and go for breakfast. Walking out around 5 am to go find a food place to pig out. Those were the days.
My energy was amazing and I’d literally have a 2 hour sleep at home then head down to the beach and crash there.
I have excellent memories of my crazy young adulting years. I did pretty crazy things and met some amazing people.
The club scene was amazing in Sydney and my favourite club at the time was The Exchange on Oxford Street. When I moved to Melbourne it was The Metro.
Sadly neither of them exist as they were.
Here I am, in bed only able to reminisce because frankly it’s many years later and my body is no longer the same.
