I sat here for quite a while lost in my thoughts today and then realised I had a photo to take.
The past week my thoughts carry me away and sometimes don’t bring me back. I dream of life as we believe it should be and people perfect and all shiny like a fairytale.
Let’s face it though fairytales don’t exist and neither does the life we dream about.
The reality is that humans are full of flaws and no matter how you polish them up and like to believe in their “perfection” there is no such thing. They disappoint and are not as shiny as your fairytales.
What is important is opening your eyes and seeing life for what it is. Imperfect and transient. It can be long or it can be short. Either way, grab it and remember how fortunate you are to be living it.
Now, I believe in snow. But, I’m able to admit, reality only gives me a bucketful at any one time. Mother Nature doesn’t like my snow fantasy to be real. Though she has no influence in the virtual world.
