I don’t roleplay in second life as frankly I couldn’t take it seriously. That’s just me. I have 3 Zooby kiddos for the videos I make and 3 different characters who act as the parents.
All yours truly of course. Thelma is the parent of this cute blue eyed boy Trevor and Harriet Parker has Harriet junior. Then there is Aunty VaGina who is the proud parent of little Yorkie who she found under a bush one day.
Though despite that lack of role play I state, there is a certain warmth to the whole experience of the Zooby phenomenon that really is actually kind of nice. I literally could be left alone and spend ages just looking at them as they’re very weirdly so adorable.
I think having a Zooby child in Second Life is like being a parent of a digital pot of hot water simmering on the stove – they may not make real messes, but they’ll sure wreak virtual havoc with their cuteness leaving you questioning your sanity and wondering if you accidentally adopted a tiny pixelated alter ego.
