As the icy wind lightly blows outside, our temperatures in the UK appear to be dropping again. I am snuggled in my old daggy tracksuit, sipping on a warm cup of milky coffee. It isn’t just the tracksuit and the coffee keeping me warm. I find heat in a virtual world, at my beach home.
In Second Life, I am free to be whoever I want to be, go wherever I want to go, and do whatever I want to do. The warmth of the virtual sun on my skin, the sound of waves crashing on my pixel shore, I am warm right now, sitting in my shorts set from Entice and leaning on my Polar bear seat from Mad Pea.
You see this doesn’t reflect reality right now but it does reflect what is my imaginary moments.
