Last night I had a party

Last night I had a party

Good morning world.

Last night I woke up at 1 am, put on my finery and went to a live stream book event.

Ok, the truth?

Last night I woke up at 1am and dragged my pyjama clad self to my pc, bottle of water in hand and was the camera woman for the live stream debut of the of The Mystery Hour with Con Sweeney in Second Life.

It was something I was approached to do and I didn’t hesitate in saying yes to even though the times are at odds with my reality.

Con Sweeney is a Social Media Advisor and Strategy and Applications Consultant in New York.

Currently the emphasis is on the Mystery writers of America and how they are doing during Covid and promoting their works.

If anything, what a great way to introduce non virtual people into the virtual world and enabling another platform opened up to show how people can come together and communicate and collaborate despite distance and dare I say it COVID19!

This will run every 3rd Monday in the Month at Draxs book venue and yep you shall see me there poised filming like a camera woman. Ooo I might purchase myself a virtual prop for this!!!

The YouTube channel is Here. Hit subscribe and the bell to be alerted to the next upcoming authors to be swooped into our Second Life.

Now it’s early morning and yes I woke up normal time. I’m sitting here drinking tea in my home from Wild at the Designer Showcase. Waiting for a man to tend to my boiler!

Yes you read that right!

Bit of DIY anyone?

Bit of DIY anyone?

I seriously want to repaint and spruce up my apartment at the moment.

Honestly the one thing that would make me super happy would be a fresh lick of paint, shampoo of the carpets and a jig around of the furniture.

But frankly I would rather a man who can and I would just hang off the ladder like this, instructing!

I’m fabulous with colour ideas etc in reality. But the actual process, the doing, hell no!

Daaahlings, one does not get paint on the fingers.

I might start planning some colour ideas and buying the paints for now. Till the man that can, arrives on his chariot.

Week saga

Week saga

Seems Boris wants us all to go back to work. No more working at home he wants to jog the economy back into full steam.

Jolly good. But I frankly don’t care what chuckles says.

I’m chilled, relaxed and have every intention of never listening to any other person again as though they know better.

Because frankly chuckles messed up quite a bit. Though I’m not going to ramble about that. Jonathon Pie always elocute’s his disdain quite superbly. I love a man who says it as it is.

So while your sitting there with nothing to do how about some Pie

Moment

Moment

I’m currently watching Doom on tv sitting drinking tea and chilling.

Hard to believe I just attended a wedding and filmed for the past few hours.

Can I say it was gorgeous and I hope my video once edited does it justice because man that lag critter came and attacked me big time.

Partly my own doing as I wanted to capture as much as I could on high graphics.

A huge task when you have avatars dashing around . Clearly no rendering as they were the guests!!!

On another note I’m sat here having one of my famous flashes as my sugars went a bit awol. So waiting for those bad boys to go back up to normal.

Sadly unlike my virtual me, I can’t pop into a bodysuit and laze by a pool. But maybe I can strip down to my undies and shove my head under the shower whilst eating my glucose.

Summertime

Summertime

I’m just in my bed, nearly ready to smash my head on the pillow and just spend the next 7 hours deep in dreams and letting today slip away.

Before I do. I just wanted to say a big thank you to those who joined my stream test today with Rosie.

It went well apart from one hitch I need to fix. Other than that hopefully fingers crossed I’m ready for my new role that starts next week.

You will have to watch the stream to find out.

Goodnight all and see you tomorrow outside my dreams.

Lord I set out the video to this last night and youtube decided to have some weird glitch.

I waited thinking ok today it should have cleared but it hasn’t so I had to reupload.

What you may ask. Basically it duplicated a section of my video. Like the broken record me speaking over again.

Frankly I’m pretty sure no one wants to listen to my waffle when they just want to check out the attire.

Here have it again and do admire my fine moves. They’re pretty good if I must say so myself.

Under the light

Under the light

I have forgotten those days of how it feels to dress up and feeling sassy. (In reality not pretend land.)

I mean seriously I cannot remember the last time I dressed up to the max, did the whole makeup and hair routine and sprayed myself with my fave perfume. Stepped out the door for a night on the tiles as the saying goes.

The scene here in this photo reminds me of standing outside after a few drinks, grabbing some fresh air and staring at the guy who came outside with his mates. Wishing he would talk to me as I try to appear chilled and more confident than I really am.

Back in the day huh.

Now roll on a few years later and COVID times, the thought is far from my mind.

The only clubbing experience I will have knowing it’s safe, is a virtual one.

The only guy I’ll stare at will be the hot dude I flicked past on Instagram and decided to stop on his page and look a while.

So yes this photo scene is conjuring thoughts in my head of a time that I don’t think I’ll ever experience again.

I’m wondering what will be the new scenario for the younger generation. Will they get to experience that feeling?

Will they get to have the experience or will it be mandatory masks coordinated with the outfit?

Who knows. It’s early days still, but a question I’m asking.

I’m my daks

I’m my daks

Yes right now sitting back in my undies nibbling food and relaxed.

Ok maybe I don’t look like this, but I can pretend. I’m chilled and am wearing hardly anything because the flat is warm and I was suntanning earlier and kinda burnt my face a little.

At this age. You would think I’d learn. But clearly I’m a bit of a rebel at times.

There is something about beautiful lingeries that does make a woman feel like a woman.

Except when it doesn’t fit, digs under your boobies, cuts your back because the fabric is like plastic or goes so high up your vag that you feel like your split in half.

But, none the less get the fit right and you feel lush.

In Second Life, every day is a perfect fit day.

Kawaii

Kawaii

Ok so Im in love with these dances. Seriously in love.

When Jonny and I were filming Paragon’s demo video a few days ago I wanted to pick up the wee  kawaii girls and pop them in my pocket.

Seriously adorably most cute.

I went for a little sexier mature feel to my video in red and black and music that’s as far from Kawaii as you can get. But yet I thought went quite well with the dance.

Hope you enjoy.
