The future

For over a decade this little corner of the internet has been filled with virtual worlds, Second Life adventures, homes I’d happily move into if only they existed, and enough digital outfits to clothe a small nation.

And I’ve loved every minute of it.

The thing is… people change.

At 60, I’ve realised my interests have wandered off in several different directions, and frankly, I’m following them. Some days I’ll still feel like disappearing into a virtual world and sharing something beautiful. Other days I’ll be talking about skincare, perfumes, books, things that make me laugh, getting older, life in general, or whatever random thought has decided to rent space in my brain that morning.

Let’s be honest, once you reach a certain age, your conversations can jump from Korean skincare to bird feeders, then onto why your knees make a noise every time you stand up. It’s all part of the adventure.

This blog is becoming a little more… me.

Less “I should post this.”

More “I want to write about this.”

There may be beauty products. There may be cats. There may be a rant about supermarket trolleys that refuse to behave. There may still be virtual homes that make me want to redecorate a house that doesn’t actually exist.

Who knows?

Certainly not me.

I’ve spent enough years trying to fit neatly into one little blogging box, and I’ve finally realised that boxes are terribly overrated.

So from now on, expect a mixture of reality, a sprinkling of virtual life whenever the mood takes me, a few girly things, a few “old girl” things, and probably the odd tale that starts in one place and somehow ends with me wondering why I walked into the kitchen. My mind is definitely questionable.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or you’ve only just stumbled across my little corner of the internet, I’m genuinely grateful.

Stay with me if you enjoy a good read. If this new direction isn’t quite your cup of tea, that’s absolutely okay too.

I’ll likely use Second life imagery for my blogs only because let’s face it there are some beautiful creations within.

Thank you for being here.
