Results

I need some help right now.

I feel pretty alone as I live alone and simple things such as a basket of fruit n veg I can’t pop out and get. I need my rubbish emptied and taken out and frankly I need someone to unscrew my bottle of water!

Yesterday two things happened. I got my surgery results and I pulled my shoulder. Well I didn’t suddenly do that, I woke up having slept on my arm and my arm and shoulder were not happy. It’s a long standing condition of an impingement that comes and goes without any warning. It’s flipping painful.

The results are that they removed the stage 0 melanoma as it was surface level and they have scheduled me in for further surgery in October to remove a further 2mm surrounding the current area.

The current op cut is slightly infected so I’m currently on antibiotics. On top of that I can’t do much at all apart from sit upright on my sofa, watch Netflix and tap on my phone. Can’t make a cup of tea as can’t fill kettle, going to the loo is incredibly difficult and painful and I’m still in my pjs from last night.

Whilst the picture I took for this blog was to be a different subject it’s kind of apt in a way to share how disabled I am feeling. It doesn’t take much to upend a week.
