There should be a space in our Second Life homes that should lift our spirits. It’s simple, warm, and always bathed in sunlight. Though it exists in a digital world, the sense of peace it can bring is entirely real.
Each time we log in it should feel like a reset. The golden light streaming through the windows, casting soft shadows that dance across the floor. It should feel like a sanctuary of calm, a place that allows us to pause, breathe, and begin the day with intention, no matter where life takes us online or off.
This room has become more than just a design choice. It’s a reminder that our surroundings, even in a virtual space, have a profound effect on how we feel. It’s warm and inviting. Yet idyllic to be within.
I call this now my reading room. The place I hide from the world to relax and rid of the “noise”.
Second Life lets us craft spaces that reflect our aspirations, our ideal selves. This design by Chez Moi just is perfect for this.
