It’s funny but I get embarrassed at times with how frequent my blog posts are. I have literally around 8 ready to go and another dozen I keep in draft form for downtimes. I’m the same with videos.
I frankly love to blog. I love to write about anything and everything and if I really could I’d write twice a day.
However I try and contain myself as it feels like spam. I am conscious of eye rolling and not being read because “oh it’s another blogpost”. It does sadden me me that blogs are very rarely read by the sl community.
I mean these days people now refer to pictures on Flickr as blogging.
But then they create an actual blog to repeat exactly what they put under their Flickr picture? I must be getting old as to me it’s about writing and being chatty and conversational.
So, in saying all of this. I’m not the greatest photographer BUT, I certainly have words to say for people to linger on and can provide a video as well to add to the experience.
So. Forgive me if my decor pictures are not the greatest, but know, I do give it my all and hope you get something from both the words and the imagery.
Now check the video.

I feel exactly the same about Flickr photos being deferred to as blogging, it infuriates me. But you can’t say “that’s not blogging, that’s photography” because it’s become accepted as such unfortunately. Yes a lot of work might go into creating the photos, but they’re still just photos. The origin of the word “Blog” is a shortening and combination of “web log”, a text-based account of something, so these Flickr photo collections, really don’t fit.
