Let down by a mentor

I’m not in the frame of mind to blog or even vlog at the moment.

The past two days Second Life has hurt me deeply. I’ve spent some few years now, nearly 4 giving up my time and learning and trying to do better in a role I was invited to. Really at times giving up a lot of my personal time in supporting someone else.

To learn these past two days in a terrible way that I was shafted without a word, from a role I’ve been doing for a number of years that I loved has shook me.

Then to read in social media why and via someone sharing information with me is truly hurtful and also despicable. My respect has been lost totally!

The lack of integrity from that person , the gutless manner of no discussion to even say anything and lack of professionalism!

I’ve always been an honest upfront person and I expect others to be the same with me. But when someone decides to allude a person as an Islamophobe and reiterate that in another conversation is shocking. Especially to someone “me” who was due to go to Palestine last week as an invited guest by the Palestinians to use that word is disgusting to me!!! As regular readers and also viewers of my Coffee vlogs you would know this is what was due to happen, My tickets are currently changed to 9 March 2024 due to the current war.

I’m Jewish and so is my other colleague who has felt these affects. This labelling by a so called pillar of the community is astounding.

Based on? Good question, views and likes on twitter? It’s astonishing to me that such a stupid assumption is made and they felt they could behave this way.

Part of me wants to shout it to the world what the past two days has done to me but actually I’m better than that.

All people have a right to dignity and respect in life. A mantra I live by in the things I do in my personal life and work life.

Before people label people they should learn the same, as labelling and assuming is what actually is the cause of wars.

This is all I’m going to say Goodnight!
