Isn’t it amazing how a room can feel completely different just by changing a colour? You don’t need to move furniture, redecorate, or spend a fortune. Sometimes all it takes is shifting a light shade accent, one wall, or in my case, one tap on a colour HUD.
Colour sets the mood of a space more than anything else. Warm tones can make a room feel cosy and inviting. Cool tones calm everything down. Bold colours energise, pastels soften, and neutrals balance. It’s the quickest emotional makeover you can give to a room.
And in reality, I genuinely love colour. People think I gravitate only towards soft shades or classic neutrals, but no, I love the full rainbow. Still, blues always win with me. Deep blues, airy blues, teals, midnight, if it’s blue, I’m probably adding it somewhere.
But the fun part? When I’m in Second Life, I don’t even have to commit. My Chez Moi chair colour HUD makes changing the vibe ridiculously easy. Feeling serene? Click to a soft sky blue. Want something moody? Switch to navy. Feeling playful? Maybe a vibrant red or even something totally unexpected. One tap and suddenly the whole room looks different, the atmosphere shifts instantly.
Honestly, I wish real life came with a colour HUD. Imagine pressing a button on your sofa and matching it to your mood of the day. “Today I’m cosy…” click warm beige. “Tonight I’m dramatic…” click deep blue velvet. Life would be so much simpler!
But whether it’s real cushions or a digital chair HUD, I always circle back to my beloved blues. They make every room feel calm, inviting, and unmistakably me
