Today I sat here in pain, my shoulder pulling like it’s mocking me. All I could manage was slipping into loose track pants and, with more effort than it should take, miserably plaiting my hair as I can’t tie it up any other way. Messy Heidi look.
The rest of me? Braless and very hanging low cause the pain is not worth the effort.
The pain is severe and then it goes numb after a bit before coming back hard again.
It’s a strange thing, having your independence shrink into small scraps like the victory of getting your hair into a braid. Funny how something so ordinary can feel like a battle won and lost at the same time.
I’m a little miserable at the moment. Seeing a GP clearly not as I’ve been told what I’m doing is all they can offer me. Any inflammatory and covering myself in deep heat, choking every single time cause my god it’s strong.
I think I’m addicted to Deep Heat!
