So news time. Hold on tight to your seats as things are becoming real. Earlier today I received a email that confirms I’m now part of a delegation headed out to Israel/Palestine and it’s the 25 November this year.
I’ll be gone a week and will be staying in Jerusalem. This is a union congregation to go out and see first hand what the situation is like out there and meet up with other organisations and share knowledge.
I’ll also be entering refugee camps and meeting people. I won’t lie I’m nervous as hell but also excited to be doing something so far out of my comfort zone. I am going with a completely open mind to see myself and learn.
I really believe we should all take moments to step outside our lives and really see the world around us and find answers to questions.
No doubt when it comes my blog will revert to no second life and all of it will contain my daily updates on this venture.
But anyhow sharing as I really am blown away it’s happening for real. 5 months to go!!!
