There is a nation of people struggling right now and in my mind I feel an incredible guilt that I can sit here and log in as though life is normal and send out a blog.
It really is so far from normal and yet many of us in a position of only viewing at a distance, can only express sadness at this. The unfolding war in the Ukraine I hate with a passion that this is happening right now.
We are just so oblivious to what this must be like. I mean in that we can only imagine but we are not there. we are not experiencing the all encompassing fear that must be happening every moment right now for the Ukrainians.
My stomach knots with pain at what our world is now. We beef about stupid things and people rush to social media to moan about one thing or another. cancel this, cancel that. It goes on and on.
Vitriol seems to be the norm and yet something like this opening war is happening in real time. This is going to affect us all. There is no doubt about that. In one way or another it will. But right now, it’s affecting the people of Ukraine.
The memes I see on social media are making me speechless. Wrong timing and bad taste. Though I admit I’m loving Ukraines ones. Only they have the right to do this. This is their moment.
Be respectful. We have so much to be greatful for, remember that. Our governments say so much but do so little.
In the meantime I am bringing a vision of spring because …. Life!
