Here in the UK it’s a bank holiday long weekend. That first spring weekend where usually sunshine should be present and people plan a short getaway .
I’m doing mine at the end of May, when I’m flying up to Scotland to visit a friend.
I have to say I love it when I do go because I literally have no phone signal where he lives. It’s great because it’s the ultimate switch off. The wifi isn’t great either but mildly doable.
The main thing is I get to switch off.
However just like the photo, I struggle with my case. For some reason, I pack for every eventuality! I’m known for packing the kitchen sink in my luggage for those “just in case” moments. (No I don’t literally pack the kitchen sink, just the weight of one).
So last week I got wheels on my case!!! What a revelation. Why didn’t I do this before.

Lol this is me when I visit in Scotland. I’ve two hours of on and off buses from Edinburgh before I hit Fife.
