My Personal Friends

My Personal Friends

I’ve noticed a lot of mixed thoughts and differences appearing on social media the past week or so about COVID-19 and how people are relating to it.

This isn’t the time to argue about whether or not someone used a mask in a photo, or a merchant is making profit from COVID-19 merchandise. Is it?

I don’t believe people are choosing to offend or to be upset on the flip side.

Many merchants sole incomes are made in Second Life. Remember that too.

We are ALL in this together. But I totally agree that in terms of anything related to this epidemic, they should be educational and light relief. Not salacious scare mongering.

We all are dealing in this time of let’s face it an (unprecedented in our lifetime global emergency) in many different ways.

But, make sure that you show respect to those around you who you may not know are personally suffering from. Remember, you may be perfectly fine in your world but someone else is not.

Show respect and be kind about how people are dealing.

We are humans and deal in different ways. Some find laughter, some find reflection and some deal with the harsh reality directly in the face.

Whichever way you deal with it remember that not everyone deals in the same way as you.

I personally am a laughter person and so hence my Thelma in isolation videos. They will continue as she finds herself facing what we all do. But in a light hearted way to only make you smile.

Because at the end of the day I’d rather laugh than cry. This is last weeks episode if you haven’t seen it.

It’s not perfect

It’s not perfect

So I’m now in the underlying conditions isolation part of the world gone wierd.

This all got real when I went to the grocery store Tesco and the shelves were empty. Then I convinced myself this has to be a dream, surely.

I’ll wake up soon and life will just be “normal”.

It’s not a dream and the hard hard hard reality is we are facing a very difficult time. How do we cope with this will vary from person to person.

I want to say laughter is a very good medicine. It is a positive way to lift spirits at times of tough living and sadness.

Laughter is not disrespecting a situation or making light.

It’s a way some of us as human beings find to deal with a difficult time, for our own mindfulness.

So please at this time, don’t attack people for their ways of coping. Everyone comes in different ways. We are all individuals.

I’ve seen people accusing others of being disrespectful or cashing in on the situation.

The truth is, everyone has their own situations and we can’t “suppose” on what theirs is.

This situation is something everyone is now in, not just a few. Remember that.

Be kind to each other. Kindness after all is free!

I broke my pixel wrist on this pose. I nearly deleted it, but decided to use it, to show life is not perfect.

Coffee at Baja Norte #Be Kind on social media

Coffee at Baja Norte #Be Kind on social media

I have decided to bring forward my Coffee with Isa from a Monday to a Sunday.

With no blog on a Monday morning at all.

I am just switching it around for the heck of it. I plan to do more Sansar videos and will relegate them to Mondays and people can choose to watch or not depending on their interest.

In todays Coffee I am touching on something that troubles me of late and that is the behaviour of people on Social media, particularly in the virtual community. It seems to be getting worse and not better and so I am running a poll on this which the link will be at the start of the video to gain insight into how people are feeling about it.

Its a simple yes or no answer and no indication of who you are at all. I felt I would rather do it that way than put anyone in the position of a comment which may bring them any detriment in any way, shape or form.
