Recently I had a discussion about phone boxes.

Yes I discussed phone boxes.

Why you may wonder?

Have you ever thought what you would do in an emergency if your cell phone died and you HAD to get hold of someone?

Exactly, I rest my case!

I can’t think of one public phone box anywhere at all local to me.

It’s quite scary how reliant we are on mobile networks to the point phone boxes have become almost iconic and very rarely seen these days.

I remember a snow storm some years ago I was caught in miles from home.

No transport could run and all mobile networks ground to a halt. There was no phone box to use to let anyone know where I was and let alone all the schoolies who couldn’t let their parents know. I walked around from midday till 9pm at night till a taxi appeared. 9 hours where no one knew where I was.

So I say bring back phone boxes.

It’s Sunday and I am just taking a moment to reflect on the new year.

Already for me it started with a few bumpy moments. Basically being unwell.

Time will tell if this means a year of better chances and luck or a year on a downward course.

I believe our time is what we make of it or rather choose to make of it.

I choose to make the best of it and see where it takes me. What about you?

It’s post New Year’s Eve and a semblance of normality is back with us all.

For some they’re still on holidays and others like me it’s back to work.

Except I’m not at work!

Unfortunately my New Years turned into the past 5 days of woman flu. Yes there is such a thing. I’m telling you there is! I’m a woman. 😁

To be honest I feel like an aching coughing woe is me person right now.

Energy is zero and the cough is driving me insane never mind everyone around me. I’m guessing it’s a chest infection now as it feels like someone karate kicks my chest each cough.

So as I lay here on my sofa telling you I’m considering taking every cough syrup under the sun to try shake this. I’m thinking I wish I had man servants to cater to my every whim.

Pigs may fly and Reality is our SL Matrix!

This photo was taken just before Christmas.

I visited the new snow set at Backdrop City and must have taken a dozen as it’s so pretty.

I highly recommend you visiting to check it out.

Mia does an amazing service providing backdrops where you can take photos. I visit very often because it’s so easy to go find what I am looking for.

The outfit and hair I am wearing is at equal10 and you have until the 5th to get there and purchase.

In the meantime I’m going back to bed as my sorry self has woman flu.

I’m standing here at the bus stop listening to some excited schoolies who have arranged a Christmas night out clubbing.

They’re not of legal age but judging by their looks they will get away with it quite easily if ID’s aren’t checked at the door.

I am feeling old right now as I stand here thinking that 4 pm can’t come fast enough today so I can go home and grab more sleep.

Fact is it is now party season and all the glad rags are coming out the closet.

I’m late for work. I decided I would go and dress up on Xmas jumper day in my Santa girl outfit and frolic in the snow instead!

Truth?

Ok. I woke up with a pounding head, laid back down and fell asleep again. I’m now madly dashing on a bus to work. Well let me correct that. I’m panicking on a slow moving bus going to work.

Still with headache and just a heads up I spotted a light drop of snow land on my coat!

The “bare” facts are that I am not wearing these undies in reality.

I mean really? Considering the temperatures at the moment I think my butt would suffer a mighty icy breeze.

Though give me an excuse to wear something as seductive, I may just take that opportunity. But not on a work day.

There is nothing enticing or seductive when I walk into work. Not unless you find old buildings exciting. I don’t.

As for spotting “talent”, that is pretty small to be honest given the average worker is overworked, tired, stressed and underpaid.

So I’ll stick to pretendsville, it’s so much more interesting to imagine.

Can you imagine wearing this to work?
