In todays Coffee I show you a glimpse of a lovely destination called Esoteric in Second Life. It is an adult area and so of course, try and be an adult when visiting.
Its a great place to visit because of the event nights they have there for socialising and also the very beautiful grounds that were created for people to relax and explore.
It is adult themed but I am not showing you those bits, so there!!
What I will show you is a glimpse of the grounds as I do my coffee vlog and talk about todays topic I promised in last weeks I would raise.
Details of the event nights will be below the video and I assure you, held by lovely people who truly make you feel welcome. Next Saturday is School night, so shake out those uniforms and see you there!

Regular Events at Esoteric
Friday’s at 3pm SLT Max Kleene and then Rommie/Jayde do a party
Saturdays 1 – 3 SLT Jamie Oakley and Wynn Klaar host fun themed nights (Sat 24th back to school night)
Sundays 8 – 10am SLT Luca and Ame bring the music
Periodically they have tribute nights and so join the Facebook to keep up to date
I’ve started going to more events in SL lately, not just dance parties but also discussions. (I just wish there were more that I could get to, but day job and need for sleep interfere, lol.)
I used to do that a lot when I first joined SL, and you’re right, they’re much more fun than shopping events. A lot of parties I discovered via the Hugo Design group, they hold gift card giveaways plus a gift card for best outfit, plus they’d bring models to show off their wares. 🙂 One of the venues, Old Guard (now gone, alas) was where I subsequently got my first paid DJ gig.
Some of my fave spots: Twisted Orchid Club (adult, BDSM but friendly), Inspire Space Park (moderate, regular dance parties, great for photography too) and Brazen Head (mock Irish pub, specialising in live performances).
I’ll definitely check out Esoteric sometime, it looks really beautiful, and I’d probably go even if there’s no party happening, just to chill out. I have a couple of other places I’ve landmarked for when I need peace and tranquillity.

Yeah it would be nice to search the places you can go to be amongst people that are sociable as well as welcoming. I’ll be doing that every now and then as it’s a great way to find places. I’m not a big event person. More a smaller group of people. It’s more warming I think when you are able to all be in a conversation
