It’s post New Year’s Eve and a semblance of normality is back with us all.
For some they’re still on holidays and others like me it’s back to work.
Except I’m not at work!
Unfortunately my New Years turned into the past 5 days of woman flu. Yes there is such a thing. I’m telling you there is! I’m a woman. 😁
To be honest I feel like an aching coughing woe is me person right now.
Energy is zero and the cough is driving me insane never mind everyone around me. I’m guessing it’s a chest infection now as it feels like someone karate kicks my chest each cough.
So as I lay here on my sofa telling you I’m considering taking every cough syrup under the sun to try shake this. I’m thinking I wish I had man servants to cater to my every whim.

Never mind about the manservant, get somebody to go to the pharmacy and buy you Vicks vapour rub. Not only can you put it on your throat and chest but… put a teaspoonful in boiling water and inhale – it calms down your cough and lets you bring up all that lovely phlegm that feels so itchy – and now I sound just like Thelma. Ahem!
