I’m off work today as he is in Royal Brompton hospital to do a pre surgery check on him. It’s called catheterisation and it’s to pump dye into his body under anaesthetic so the surgeon has a clear view of his arteries and what needs to be done.
So I’m at home waiting as only two people are allowed by his bedside.
Surgeons are going to try a new technique on Mason of inflating the band in his heart. If that works then he won’t have to have imminent surgery. However at some stage they would need to do it again and apparently try and break it. Don’t ask as I’m not sure. The alternative is open heart surgery and I’m wishing for this to work.

Aww Liz, I feel so sad for you all when I think of what little Mason has to go through with his heart problem. I’m so glad the little man has a wonderful, loving family around him and you’re able to support each other. I’m sending my love ❤
