” I think part of a best friend’s job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die. ” -anonymous

I actually thought about this recently. The what happens if question.

Our lives have evolved so much since I was a “youngin” that actually there is so much more preparation we need to before exiting the planet.

In the old days only tangible physical properties had to be considered if you passed. But now?

If I think about all the social media sites I’m on, the income generations from music and there are at least 3 sites that collect those, my kids have a helluva job sorting out my estate should I suddenly drop out of existence. Then of course there are all the people to inform that surpass the old fashioned phone books we used to keep. I have over 365 real life friends and then of course there are my virtual ones. There is the virtual estate and the real estate. Both having value.

Frankly how did we get ourselves to this point where the mark we will leave is actually greater that it was 20 years ago.

So, I thought about this logically. Im going to have to document every single site I’m on, every password as well as every bank account and income generator. Otherwise, the people I leave behind one day in the future will just not know.

How many of you had thought about this? It just dawned on me and I’m thinking wow.

As I’m in a bus I can’t pop in the hyperlinks, so the names are going on.
