Best hand Job ever

Best hand job ever he said to me.

Now anyone listening to that conversation would wonder precisely what it was my colleague was referring to.

It sounded cheeky to a passer by and I’d understand the wrong conclusion being reached simply by the terminology being phrased.

But of course, we were at work, sat in a meeting and there were at least another 3 people in the room!

Funny how the words we use and the way they are put together can invoke such different connotations in how they are received.

It’s taken me into this age to learn that the most powerful tool/weapon we have as people in life is language and the way we use it.

When I was younger we were taught that little saying “sticks and stones can break your bones but words can never harm you”.

But that isn’t true. Because what you say and how you say it can have an incredible effect on those around you and words have even been known to break relationships, cause conflicts, wars and many situations that you would not think about as possible.

So language and words are important.

But again, apparently it was the “best hand job ever”. Now maybe I’ll tell you what that meant. But I’d love to know what you think it meant. 😊
